Varutha Podi Saathumadhu , literally means that the ingredients for rasam are freshly roasted in ghee and ground to a fine powder just before preparing the rasam.
Kariveppalai Podi or Curry leaves spice powder , is an excellent condiment that is mixed with hot plain rice and topped with a generous tablespoon of ghee. Super fast , super healthy and tasty preparation.
This is a simple condiment coming from Tanjore. This is served with plain white rice and ghee.
NOTE : This powder need not be refrigerated.
Milagai Podi or Chilli powder in transliteration is not entirely chilli in powder form.
